What is Nasopharynx Cancer?
- It is a rare type of head and neck cancer, which starts in the upper part of your throat, behind the nose.
- It is most common in southern China and southeast Asia, as well as other parts of Asia, North Africa, Alaska and Canada.
- The risk is higher in those people who smoke, drink lots of alcohol and work around wood dust or a chemical called formaldehyde.
We send our condolences to her family and loved ones.
