Korean superstars BTS makes history in 2018 by having two of the biggest albums in the world something never done before. BTS currently one of the biggest names out of South Korea is leading the charge Kpop dominance worldwide.

According to Forbes

The list of the 10 bestselling albums in the world last year released just a short time ago by the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry), a London-based organization that “represents the recorded music industry worldwide,” BTS claims not one, but two spots on the ranking, something no other act managed to do.

Their album Love Yourself: Answer was number 2 with a whopping number of  2.7 million copies sold around the globe in 2018. Their second album Love Yourself: Tear was in third place with 2.3 million copies sold worldwide. This data is according to The list of the 10 bestselling albums of 2018 by the IFPI International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

BTS has made a lot of headway for Kpop, they have crossed over big in the USA as well signifying that English speaking fans are enjoying KPOP music. BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment in 2013.
