Ji Sung is to star alongside Lee Se Young in the upcoming medical drama, "Doctor Room".
Earlier today ( April 17), Ji Sung’s agency Namoo Actors confirmed that he will be taking the lead role.
“Doctor Room” will tell the stories of doctors who work with pain management. Each episode will show patients whose source of pain is unknown and patients that suffer from chronic illnesses as the doctors pursue the unknown causes of their pain.
Ji Sung will be playing genius doctor Cha Yo Han, the youngest anesthesiology professor.
Lee Se Young will be playing Kang Si Young, a resident anesthesiologist. This will be her first medical drama. Lee Kyu Hyung has also been confirmed to play prosecutor Son Suk Ki.
The drama will be directed by Jo Soo Won, who is popularly known for “I Hear Your Voice,” “Pinocchio,” and “30 but 17.”
“Doctor Room” is set to air in July 2019.
