bride.jpgThe 2017 Korean drama depicts the life of a narcissistic Water God Ha Baek who visits earth in order to find a magical stone powerful enough to help him claim his throne, he seeks out the help of his servant and destined bride, psychiatrist So Ah, whose family is fated to serve the water god for generations.

The problem is that she has no belief in the gods and initially mistakes him for a total lunatic suffering from delusions. Things get even harder for Ha Baek, when the Wind God Bi Ryum, the Water Goddess Mu Ra, and a hotel CEO/Demi-God Hu Ye show up to complicate things and stop him from reaching his goal.



Bok Joo is a weightlifter who is pursuing her dream of winning the gold medal but she then finds romance for the first time in her life. While she is a woman who trains with heavy steel weights, she is also very feminine when it comes to relationships.

To focus solely on weightlifting would jeopardize her relationship but leaving her weightlifting career for love would keep her from attaining her dreams. Can she find a way to have love as well as glory at the age of 20? The characters within this drama are elite athletes in weightlifting, swimming and rhythmic gymnastics who work hard to reach their goals in life. It covers their coming-of-age stories and relationships through hectic life.




When a total eclipse of the sun takes place, a 21st-century woman, Go Ha Jin, is transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea. She wakes up in the body of 16-year-old Hae Soo, an aristocrat living with Lady Hae, her cousin who happens to be married to one of the sons of King Taejo. She soon befriends several of the princes, who find her carefree and exuberant attitude refreshing. Although she knows she should not get involved in palace intrigues over the succession to the throne, she inadvertently becomes a pawn in the struggle, as several of the Princes fall in love with her.

As the 13th prince Baek-ah, Nam Joo-hyuk’s character is described as a romantic playboy known for his refined and aristocratic manners. He lives lovingly with his brothers. Later on in the drama, he met a woman who he enjoyed spending time with. They eventually fell in love.

Having returned to college after a year-long break, due to her family’s poor background, Hong Sul, a hard-working over-achiever, inadvertently got on the wrong side of Yoo Jung, her senior who is athletic, good looking, gets good grades and has a kind personality, but also a hidden dark side. From then on her life took a turn for the worse and Sul was almost certain it was all Yoo Jung’s doing. So why is he suddenly acting so friendly a year later?


Nam Joo- hyuk played the role of  Seol and Bo-ra’s loyal friend, who is in love with Bo-ra.



This Korean drama includes stars such as Han Ji-min, Kim Hye-ja, Nam Joo-hyuk and Son Ho-jun.

Kim Hye Ja is a bright and positive 26-year-old woman who wishes to become an announcer. One day, she gains the ability to exploit time and from there, is involved in a complicated timeline as a 70-year-old. Lee Joon Ha is a man who wishes to become a reporter. He worked hard to reach his goal, but now throws away his time and lives lethargically.
When the two opposites meet in a complicated time, a love story begins to unfold.



The series follows three characters: an ambitious woman, a woman jealous of her, and a man who will take revenge.

Nam Joo- Hyuk plays the role of young Jin Hyeong-woo.

Hyeong-woo is a man who lives for revenge, as he vows to take revenge against those who drove his father to death when he was still a teenager.

The house is for people who are preparing to land their first jobs. To permanently become a human being, Ha Ni must make Shi Kyung love her within 100 days.

Nam Joo-hyuk as Park Dae-bak, aka “Big”.  A resident of surplus house. He grew up comfortably but has now been cut off by his parents. He is a computer genius.

Sekang High School is the most prestigious private high school in Seoul’s Gangnam District, and Go Eun Byul is the most popular girl there. Eun-byul’s best friend is Han Yi-an (Nam Joo- hyuk), the school’s star swimmer. Meanwhile, her identical twin Lee Eun Bi is living in an orphanage and is being bullied at school. Then one day, Eun Byul mysteriously disappears. Soon after, Eun Bi loses her memories and is mistaken as being Eun Byul. Eun Bi then starts living her life as Eun Byul.
