Reasons Why You Should Watch Chinese Drama “Put your head on my shoulder”.
Put Your Head On My Shoulder has received great response since its release. Based on the author’s book of the same name, the 24 episode series brings to life a sweet and funny campus love story between two individuals, Si Tu Mo played by actress Xing Fei and Gu Wei Yi, played by rookie actor Lin Yi.
If you have not watched the drama as yet here is a summary of the plot:
As Si Tu Mo’s graduation is nearing, she is confused about her future plans. She tries out all sorts of things all the time and is unable to make her own decisions. Her ordinary days are suddenly shaken up when the genius Physics student Gu Wei Yi appears in her life. The two accidentally end up living together and chaos begins.
Here is why you should watch Put Your Head On My Shoulders!
The story line had many cute moments between the characters, and there was not really any huge climax or conflict that lasted for several episodes. This plot was, more or less, very bubbly and cutesy with many squealing moments; it felt as if the main characters were living in their honeymoon phase the entire time due to the amount of innocence they had. Unlike with other Chinese dramas, I did not feel like the middle was intensely dragged out and was instead filled with more sweet and funny moments.
Easy To Watch:
If you are looking for something simple, straightforward, romantic comedy with good chemistry between the characters. This is the drama to go for. Enjoy!
It is not dragged out. The pace has been relatively consistent and THERE are ONLY 24 EPISODES NOT 50. I’ve never finished Chinese dramas because they pace things out so long. I really liked the way they progress both main lead characters. Drama is energetic and gives positive vibes. It shows not only romance the way they progress in their profession.
The Original Soundtrack Track is beautiful, it’s very catchy, so you’ll find yourself singing even after the drama has ended.
Rewatch value: Honestly, I don’t think I can rewatch the entire series from beginning to end, but I might re-watch some cute scenes (there was a lot of those in this drama).
If you are looking for a drama with a cheerful and romance related story line to wind down, maybe for those who just finished watching a frustrating drama then this is definitely for you.
